When : 11:30 Sunday 22nd October 2023
Where : Meet at The Sandy, the field next to the Bowling Green.
What : A Race (on foot) from the Meet point along the canal and then once you arrive at Bear Mountain, it’s a choice between the direct, harder route or the easier, less direct path to the Summit. But there is a twist.
The Twist : Before setting off players will be put into teams (ball bag method) and then at the end of the race your teams finishing positions will be added together and the team with the lowest score will be the Winners.
Who : Hopefully YOU!!!
Scoring Points : 25 points will be awarded for starting the race, and then, depending on your teams finishing position and the number of teams participating will determine the number of points on offer. The team that is ranked in last position overall will be awarded 50 points each player and then every time we go up the rankings of overall team finishing positions an additional 50 points will be awarded until we reach the winning team, who will receive the maximum ranking points in this event. Bonus points will also be awarded through PowerPlay actions.
PowerPlay: This Rounds PowerPlay actions are as follows, with 50 bonus points being awarded for achieving. (1) Finishing the Race (2) 1st player to finish the race
