Just want to say thank you to everyone for taking part and I hope you have enjoyed the season so far as we are about to enter the final week. below you will find some info on this weekends rounds, Handball, Cookie Monster Challenge and Charades. As well as info on the Christmas Cup.
This weekends Round;
Handball
When – 11:45 Sunday 17th December
Where – the Sandy (FNTBG)
How to play;
Points are earned by scoring goals, which is done by throwing the ball into the opponents net
Any part of the player from the knee up can be used to play the ball.
Players can move up to 3 steps once in possession of the ball before having to pass or shoot.
Players must not step foot(or any other body part) into the goal area, with exception of the goal keeper.
Game will be 2 20 minute periods.
Scoring Points
25 points for playing
50 points (1pp) per goal or assist
250 points (5pp) for a clean sheet
100 points for the winning team
Introducing The Christmas Cup
Over the Christmas period there will a doubles tournament where players will battle it out to claim the accolade of the Christmas Cup Champions 2023. Hopefully you will be able to take part in some or all of the competition. The Christmas Cup will consist of 4 events; Football, Basketball, Hockey and Tennis. Information on the teams and the dates of the rounds will be sent out in due course.
Friday 15th to Sunday 17th will also have the cookie monster challenge and the charades bonus round. If you would like to take part in either or both please let me know so we can book you in.
